The goal of the meditation was to bring mindfulness to and show organizational support for the Occupy movements.

Simultaneous public meditations happened on Sunday October 16 at Wall Street, Oakland, Detroit, Greenfield, Sacramento, Washington DC, Seattle, Portland, & Boston. Additional meditations happened on October 15 at Montpelier, Sacramento, Santa Fe, & Vancouver. We put the call out far and wide, and folks as far away as Frankfurt, Germany participated! Many people also were present from wherever they were at that time – at home, on a hike, on a break from work.

Participating Organizations:
Buddhist Peace Fellowship
The Interdependence Project
Off the Mat and Into the World
Third Root Community Health Center

We invite you to continuing joining us in being present.
