You can also form online study groups, which are great for people with shared interests or identities, and for folks who are isolated geographically or by illness or disability. Your group might form around:

If you are interested in starting a new chapter in your community, we encourage you to first start a study group as a way to identify and begin connecting with others who are also interested in socially engaged Buddhism. Once your community has at least 3 people meeting regularly to explore socially engaged Buddhism, contact membership@bpf.org to explore the possibility of starting a chapter.
