Safety, Sanctuary, Refuge: Session 1 of Refuge & Resistance

Welcome to our January series on Refuge & Resistance! Full intro here.

Session 1:

Safety, Sanctuary, Refuge

In Buddhism, we take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha.

  • What does refuge feel like, for us?
  • What do these Three Jewels of refuge look like in today’s political world, as people become more desperate for safety?
  • What sanctuary do we offer — individually and institutionally?

May these resources support you and your loved ones in reflection and action.
